Trust & verification
RefCodes collects referral codes in one place and is upfront about how much is known about each one. Here's exactly what the labels on codes mean.
Member codes
Members share their own referral codes and links. Only the member who added a code can edit it, but only the community can confirm it: after someone copies a code or opens its link, we ask whether it worked. A code counts as community-confirmed for 90 days after its last confirmation, and codes with repeated problem reports are removed. Changing a code or link starts its confirmations over.
Influencer codes
Creators share codes in videos, posts and newsletters. Members submit these with a link to where the code was published, and other members verify them. You can't verify your own submission.
Rewards
Every coin earned or spent is recorded in your coin history, and boosted codes are always labelled.
FAQ
No. RefCodes doesn't sign up with brands to test codes. Members who use a code confirm whether it worked or report a problem, and each code shows how many confirmations it has and when the last one happened. The brand's own terms always decide whether an offer applies.
A RefCodes member who used this code confirmed it worked in the last 90 days. After you copy a code or open its link, RefCodes asks whether it worked. You can't vote on your own code, and each member votes once per code.
Your report is counted on the code. Codes that collect several problem reports from different members are removed automatically, and moderators can remove codes too.
A member submits a code a creator shared publicly and says where it was shared (social media, music streaming, the web or elsewhere). Other members — never the submitter — mark it as working or not working. Once enough members confirm it, it's labelled community-verified. If enough report it as broken, it's removed. Codes with an end date are marked expired after it.
You earn a coin when an influencer code you submitted becomes community-verified. Coins are recorded in a ledger you can review in your dashboard.
Boosting spends 5 coins to feature one of your active referral codes for 7 days. Boosted codes are always labelled “Boosted”, so visitors know why they're shown first.
